I think the client had seen my Mondrian bike roaming around the streets of Shoreditch and approached me about doing a similar style on his Vespa. He sent me an image of a painting by Robert Delaunay to work from and this is what I came up with. I can’t say I really enjoy working on Vespas as they are a real pain to take apart but I was pleased with the result – and he loved it.
