If you like the sea or diving, then this is the vase for you. A lovely little vase with white detailing showing the reef life over an opaque blue – no need for back lighting, this sits perfectly in normal daylight.
All vases are hand blown to my shape, colour and size specifications. They are blown using a very skillful process to overlay a thin layer of one colour over the top of a different inner colour. Once the glass has been cooled, I hand-cut the mask resist of my design onto the vase before sandblasting the top layer of colour away to reveal the inner core. I then polish the glass to remove the dulling effect of the sandblasting. It’s a lengthy process but these truly individual pieces are well worth the effort.
